Toledo Design Collective
Completed: September, 2019
Toledo Design Center, now Toledo Design Collective, came to Madhouse looking for help in telling their story. Their dedicated volunteer team had been providing urban planning and design services in Toledo for years. However, when it came to summarizing and sharing their oftentimes conceptual work, they wanted a little assistance. With an in-depth messaging framework, cohesive brand identity, and easily accessible website, Madhouse helped TDC organize and elevate their efforts. They’re able to more accurately and thoroughly explain their diverse projects, as well as the immense value their presence brings to the region.

Toledo Design Collective’s website redesign centered on their need to share projects, process, and outcomes — without getting too complex or conceptual.
Project pages, formatted as simplified case studies, help users quickly understand the initial problem and TDC’s proposed solution. The project pages also serve to share the ongoing collaboration between TDC and the neighborhood communities.
