Deke Ludwig

Dietrich “Deke” Ludwig is a director of photography. Deke studied cinematography for a year at Columbia College Chicago and spent some time in India studying overpopulation, poverty, global supply chains and women’s issues before transferring to the University of Vermont, where he got a degree in environmental studies. His passion is making beautiful films that will hopefully make the world a better place. He’s also quite handy. If a wheel falls off the equipment cart or the Madhouse van needs retrofitting to accommodate gear, Deke makes it happen.
